December 14, 2010 turned out to be a night to remember as members joined us at the prestigious Richard Nixon Library to honor fellow members for the 2010 Second Annual Trendsetter Awards Gala!
As members arrived they were greeted by Lauren Hillary who snapped photos of them dressed in their best attire. Members then were able to enjoy specialty drinks and an impressive hors d’oeuvre display prepared by Jason’s Catered Events. Members also enjoyed sipping on sparkling wine displayed in Custom Champagne Bottles provided by Moreno BHLV Sparkling Wine. To enhance the festivities of the welcome reception…Now Flip This provided a new twist to a photo booth…flip books!
Following the welcome reception, members were then invited into the Ballroom where they were welcomed by warm colors of champagne, gold and pink. White Wedding Day Events linen was wonderfully accented with Art With Nature and The Blooming Branch’s beautiful floral designs along with Found Vintage Furniture and Invitation Design Studio’s creative menus and programs! And to finish off the well dressed ballroom, Barker Décor Service provided a unique colored dance floor, Ice Bulb provided a fun ice sculpture and The Event Company provided an elegant backdrop for the stage, and enhanced lighting for the room.
To start the evening off DJ Tasos invited the ABC-OC Co-Directors
Lisa Moon, Michelle Tortuya and Kelly Feeney to the stage where they welcomed the members to this wonderful and exciting evening! At this time the ABC-OC 2010 Steering Committee was appreciated and thanked for all of their hard work for the 2010 year:

To follow the welcome of the evening, Kathy Jo Peterson was then introduced to present the 2010 Trendsetter Awards! At this time, Kathy Jo also recognized the judges who conducted blind judging to honor these trendsetter members. Much thanks to our judges…Barbra Wallace, Jean Picard, Thea Lignos-Hargrove and Summer Watkins. And the winners are…drum roll please…

Following the Awards Ceremony, members enjoyed roasted corn chowder soup and a turkey entree served and prepared by Jason’s Catered Events. What always follows dinner…dessert!!!
Members were introduced to new dessert concepts provided by Sensational Treats (nitrogen ice cream), Cake Walk Dessert ((Pie Pops and Cookies) and Dough A Deer Donuts (Mimi Donuts)…yummy!!
For the remainder of the evening…members enjoyed each others company dancing the evening away to Jordan Music Entertainment’s Band and Smoking Hand Rolled Cigars by El Canito Cigar Events! What a great way to end another fantastic ABC-OC year!
