January 11, 2011 kicked off our first meeting of the New Year, which always brings a rush of excitement for our members. Everyone has had some time to decompress over the holidays and now we are all eager to begin a successful wedding season. What better way to jump start the New Year then with an all member speed networking event at the Dana Point Yacht Club.

When guests arrived they were given a name tag with a number that corresponded to the table they were assigned to. This allowed members to mingle with others members whom they had not met before. The name tags were beautifully done by BG Designs who also created the paper goods for the evening.

The evening began with a cocktail hour where guest enjoyed the sushi samplings of Akioni’s Catering and were also able to take in the beautiful view of the harbor accented by the vibrant lighting by Atmosphere Entertainment.

The floral centerpieces showcased throughout the room were designed by Jenny B and the linens along with their new line of luxury chairs were donated by Fusion Linens. Placed at each seat was a custom candy apple created by Apple Revolution which really added a special touch of detail to the table.

After dinner members were offered complimentary head shots by the talented Taverna Photography. Taverna Photography also did a wonderful job capturing all the details of the evening. During speed networking guests enjoyed tasty petite desserts made by Elegant Baby Cakes. They were just enough to cure a sweet tooth!
